The developer as dandy.
London, spring. A self-portrait.
"Software should have the confidence of a well-tailored jacket."
I'm a software developer with a fondness for the parts of technology that touch real people — the moment a product clicks, or doesn't, the invisible decisions that separate the beloved from the merely functional.
I grew up on the internet and have spent my career building things on it. Consumer social is where I feel most at home: the specific challenge of making something that earns a place in someone's daily life is both the hardest and the most interesting problem I know.
I think a lot about fashion — not as a frivolity but as a language, as the clearest example of how aesthetic choices carry meaning. The same instincts that make a good garment make a good product. I'm convinced these things are related.
Based in London. Available for interesting problems.
Your Name, developer.
